Came all the way to Boswells from Bowling Green KY to trade in my Sportster for a 114 Street Bob. Was in contact with Tyler, a sales team member, all the way up to when I made my trip down. Speaking with them over the phone gave me the impression that I was genuinely speaking with someone who cared, not just someone who wanted to make a sale. This was only further confirmed upon my arrival, the staff as Boswells was incredibly knowledgeable, understanding, and welcoming to me and my fianc. It was well worth the hour or so trip! Purchased my first Harley a little under a year ago from Ring of Fire with the assistance of Jeff Swetman. I was a walk in and was immediately welcomed in like family. Fast forward 10 months i had been in contact with Jeff about possibly upgrading my bike. Was in the market for a street glide but could not find one here in Kentucky. Jumped on the internet and found Boswell Harley. I purchased a 2019 Road Glide in April and the transaction went perfectly. Jeff Swetman was very helpful and was able to make the deal happen just like I wanted. The bike was used, but had warranty coverage till May 2021. I had a small problem and brought the bike in for a warranty repair on June 4. The Service Department repaired under warranty quickly and even washed it while it was there !! Thanks to Justin and everyone in the Service Department. You're the "best".

After a number of calls and visits to my "local" dealership (15 minutes from my home), to schedule and inquire about a service recall appointment I was getting no where and honestly frustrated. I decided to call Boswell's and ask what their turn around and part receiving time was. I was told "get it here today" and I can do it. Because I was at work, I could not deliver the bike. When I asked about other times, I was told "we'll come get it". On a Friday they came and picked up the bike and had it ready on Monday! Because of weather, I couldn't get down to pick it up as soon as I would have liked. Fast forward another week, and I get a call they will deliver it back to my house!! Boswell's just became my new dealer. Even if I have to fight traffic of metro Nashville! Thanks!

My wife and I and six other couples rode into town on Sept. 14th. for a five day stay to see the sights. We rented a house in Downtown Nashville about 2-1/2 miles from your dealership. On the 15th. we took a ride out to Lynchburg. We spent about 4 hours there and enjoyed the ride out. As we were leaving, my bike dropped the front cylinder, and we quickly exhausted our knowledge of the problem. Five of the couples headed back to Nashville to speak with your dealership about bringing my bike in and securing a method of transportation for us and the bike. One couple hung back with us to keep us company. Some of the bunch finally secured a trailer and we got the bike to the house around 11:00PM with instructions to have it at your Dealership at 8:00AM the next morning. We were there when your doors were upon and spoke with Mellisa at which time I explained we were 700 miles from home and had six other couples riding with us and we really had no other mode of travel. Mellisa informed me you had regular scheduled appointments but would do all y'all could to help me. We took the bike in the shop, explained the problem as best we could and headed back to the house to wait while the rest of my crew headed out for the day. In four and one half (4-1/2) HOURS Mellisa CALLED AND SAID MY BIKE WAS READY TO ROLL!!! Man was I happy! It was electrical, had to do with a "Commander 500" after market piece and although you didn't have the same item (which was old, my bike is a 2007 Ultra) you had a newer similar version which required mapping to "my bike" due to different cam and pipes. All this was done and y'all washed my bike too!!! I did not get the name of the mechanic nor the gentleman on the desk with Mellisa, but all of them were very knowledgeable and professional. They really helped me out of a jam and therefore helped out six other riders and their ladies, because when you ride distances like we do, you are all in it together! We take two rides a year all over the country and have visited many, many Harley Dealerships. I would like to thank your Dealership and the folks who work there for their assistance and for getting us up and going in such a timely manner! Y'all are great, what a wonderful bunch of folks! My many thanks to all of you and we will definitely stop by the next time we roll into town. We were on a early tight schedule, and showed up to find a group of people practicing bike maneuvers, and come to find they were all employees.
The store wasn't even close to being open, and these wonderful people stopped what they were doing to open the store so I could be legal...

This is actually in regards to the MSF course I took at boswells Harley located on fesslers lane in Nashville. Sherri and James, the two instructors for my class are some of the best people I have met to date. I had an extremely fun and educational experience. I have never touched a bike before, but now have confidence and have discovered how fun riding can be because of those two. I cant wait to do more classes and become a better rider because of it. Boswell's does it again. We broke down after we left Nashville on Saturday morning and luckily were able to get to the Cookeville dealership. Bubba was there and took over and had us back on the road in a few hours. It was a major repair but the service tech was very fast. Kind of messed up the ride, but we were glad to get back home. Kudos to Bubba and his staff. The bike now has over 100,000 miles on it and Boswell's has kept it going strong. Meet Jeff (JR) salesmen on the floor ended up buying a Streetglide. Jeff is a fantastic guy no pressure sales down to earth and makes sure customer is comfortable and happy with purchase.
Jeff let me borrow his trailer to come get my Fatboy and haul up from FL for trade in which we negotiated the price for my bike by looking at picture's on my phone. Who does that? The financing went great cant remember his name but was he did a great job on my interest rate and explained warranty information. The whole team at Boswells were super to work with. I ate lunch yesterday there and bought a new pair of boots. Food was tasty and service very good. Jennifer was a great help with a very upbeat pleasant attitude helping pick out the boots making sure I had the right size and type.
Harley dealers all over in Florida and would have been much easier. I purchased my bike from Boswell's due to Jeff and all the other folks there at Boswell's>

I can't say enough great things about this dealership in general. Sales, service, parts, motor clothes; my experience with all these areas of the dealership have been excellent. However, this particular review is about the Boswell's Skilled Riders Edge program that I completed this past weekend. James and Sherri were incredible instructors. They made what could've been a stressful situation a whole lot of fun. Regardless of motorcycle riding experience, I highly recommend this program. It taught me things that weren't offered in the basic class which I took many, many years ago. And, I had developed a a lot of bad habits that became evident during the training. An added bonus, of which I wasn't aware until I took the class, is the money it will save me on my insurance. The insurance savings alone will be more than the cost of class. It was some of the best money I've spent in a long time, and well worth my time to take.

I drove from Huntsville, AL to take the Riders Edge course at Boswell's, and I am extremely glad that I did so. The Harley dealership in my town was beyond difficult to deal with (failure to return calls, inability to follow through multiple times, and a sense of disinterest in getting me into the class). I found Boswell's through the Riders Edge class, and they were extremely helpful ensuring there would be no issue of the class not transferring to another state (which does not matter in Alabama it seems). If it weren't for Jen in the front office I would not have gotten into the course, and I would still be talking about how I would "one day" learn to ride.As for the Rider's Edge course itself I'll keep it simple. Don't sell yourself short; take it here. Sherri and James are indescribably phenomenal. They've got a fan for life. I will be taking all my future classes through here as well. Thank you both so much!I will be purchasing my first Harley through Boswell's simply for the sake of the experience I've had in dealing with them. I'm sure they shine in all other aspects of their business as well.

At the beginning of July of 2013, I dimly imagined owning a Harley a year or two after first getting my motorcycle license. By the middle of the same month I was the proud owner of a preowned 2010 FLHRC, all because of the enthusiasm and genuine caring from the staff at Boswells. While at the dealership one weekend to take a Riders Edge course, Sales Associate Jennifer Marple casually asked me what kind of bike I was dreaming about. I told her a Road King Classic in Ember Red Sunglo. Two hours later, while my class was on lunch break, she came up to me and said, I think I found you your red FLHRC. A couple passing through the area had traded it in for a brand-new ride and went off on their way! Jennifer had the bike brought to the rider course area for me to stare at and drool over as I finished my Riders Edge course. The very next day, I said that if the Dealership could make the numbers (financing) work for me, I would purchase the bike. At that point, everyone there went out of their way to help me buy the bike, learn its basic care and feeding, get expert advice on clothing and gear, and in general make me feel like a welcome member of the Harley-Davidson family. From the Grill and the service bays to the showroom floors, there is a magic at Boswell's that you just have to experience to believe. They certainly made a believer out of me! I was riding around this great country and stopped into Nashville for a couple of days (36 hrs). As soon as I got to the hotel I noticed I had a leak. With that weighing on my mind and knowing (thinking) I was too leave to head to Dallas to pick up my wife at the airport too finish off the ride to Kansas City. I found this place on the Internet. I explained the situation to the service department. No I didn't wait there one of their nice customers who had taken his bike in right after me gave me a ride back downtown. Seven hours later it was done! Talk about a happy camper ( rider ) ! I will never forget the great service and hospitality these folk delivered. So to make sure I remember I purchased one of their patches to put on my vest. I recently wanted to learn how to ride a motorcycle and to hopefully get my license. I contacted Boswells and I was on my way. Now please bear in mind I hadn't ridden a motorcycle in 40 years and at that time I was only a passenger on my friends bike that we rode to school on. I had the desire and the drive to see it through. I met James and Sherry ,the instructors of the Riders Edge course, They made me feel comfortable and reassured me that I could do this. They were wonderful, I cannot tell you in words how great and how much that weekend meant to me. I had no idea that there was so much to learn about riding a motorcycle. I am so impressed with Boswell's. I just finished the MSF Rider's Edge course and am so thankful and appreciative of the instructors there, Sherri and James were truly phenomenal and professional , yet funny and dedicated to coaching the novice to achieve their goals. James stayed late on the first night , giving extra instruction to ensure that we all had a chance to succeed. I cannot thank you all enough. I had an extraordinary experience and feel like everyone needs to know how great these instructors are in conveying how seroius it is to learn the basic foundations of safe motorcyle riding! Sherri amd James, you are THE BEST!! I also had a great experience buying my first helmet and goggles. Mary Beth answered all of my questions and took great care of me and made me feel very comfortable and at ease with my purchace. I met Jason and he let me check out his Ultra classic limited and answered all my questions I had.

Just would like to comment on a very good experience I had in dealing with Boswells on Fesslers. I went to look at a Breakout with my friend, when I arrived he introduced me to Jennifer Marple (he had dealt with her in the past), she was very friendly and warm. She did not make me feel awkward about shopping for my first Harley at almost 40 years old! I was shown a CVO Breakout, just as an example of a regular Breakout might look like (it was in the back, covered, on pallet, ready to ship out)...on the way out I saw a 2006 Screamin Eagle Fatboy that I just had to have...to make a long story short- she worked closely with Jason Altenburg to get me a great deal ( i hope!) - we took our time because I don't rush things. It took over about two weeks- she never pressured me about deposits or gave me crazy ultimatums like I would have expected.
Jennifer was extremely professional, informative, and very knowledgeable. She always had a smile on her face and we texted A LOT because I ask a lot of questions! Jennifer is so awesome that my friend that took me in traded his Harley in and bought a 2013 Street Glide from her between the time he took me to see her and the time I bought mine! Now I am a proud Harley owner! She and Jason did a marvelous job- Made me feel like a part of the family and she even came in on her day off to deliver the bike to me! Just completed the Rider's Edge course (9/14 to 9/16). Sherri and James are first-rate instructors. They packed a lot of knowledge into two and a half days, and they kept the course fun while still emphasizing safety and the seriousness of the skills we learned. Marscha and the other staff at Boswell's were all professional and ready to pass on some information about bikes, gear, service . . . or to serve me a hamburger and a glass of tea.Before starting this course, I had not been on a bike for over 30 years. The Boswell's staff gave me a warm welcome back to riding and definitely helped me restart my motorcycle journey.

I attended the garage party this year and was super impressed with everything. Marscha (love her!) gave out her card and said to contact her about taking the Riders Edge course. I did and LOVED IT!! Best thing I did. I was fortunate enough to have 2 instructors, Sherri and James. They were awesome together. The way they worked together, Sherri would explain the riding portion as James was demonstrating. They were so in sync you would have thought it was rehearsed. It saved so much time in the hott sun. They made it FUN too. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and feel as though I have learned more than I ever could have on my own. I would highly recommend Sherri and James. As well as Marscha, she made me feel comfortable and relaxed about asking questions. When I'm ready to purchase I will be coming to see you, Marscha! When I walked in to Boswells looking kind of lost, Bubba saw me and came out to help me. How often does that happen, walk in to a store or dealership and the 'big guy' himself comes out to help you?! I purchased a 2012 Ultra Classic, from the sales to the delivery to the service department, great group of people. My last 5 motor cycles were purchased from the same dealership and got tired of being treated as unimportant. the Boswell dealership treated me like I had know them for years they listen to what I wanted and talked me out of buying one bike that would have costed me more into a less expensive bike with everthing I wanted on it and made suggestions as to how to make it better, I have had the bike serviced twiced and had only one glitch but was fixed on the spot.

I purchased a 2011 Sportster last week and love it! The staff at Bosewell's went above and beyond the call of duty. I had just received my license and was a little nervous about test riding on the main road so Jason scheduled my ride in a safe location. While riding through TN last week on a Monday, my bike had several spokes come loose and was handling like crap on the interstate. I stopped and while stopped I spotted the billboard for the shop in Cookeville. I called them and got directions on the back roads to get there. The service shop was closed but the service manager was there and invited me there. When we arrived, he took charge and took the bike back to the shop and got the problem fixed most haste. Got us back on the road that afternoon so we could get to our destination on time. Those guys and gals there were great. Treated us like family. Big kudos to them all.

I was on the road traveling between Daytona Beach, FL and Viola, WI when once upon a midnight dreary my stator died as I was buzzing down the highway. I contacted Boswells Harley first thing in the morning and gave them my sad song. "Everyone at the Cookeville store is great and easy to talk to. I went in there 3 or 4 times before I decided on a bike. I had been in another dealer, and did not enjoy the experience as well, and went back to Cookeville. Brad and Bud in sales are great guys, and will answer all questions, even when the store is busy, they focus on you. Roy and the guys in service are the same. Roy was the one who actually delivered my bike( 07 Road King Classic ) on a Friday when the place was jumpin, he explained all the bells and whistles, and answered all my questions. When I took the bike in for the thousand mile check up, I talked to Roy about a few things, and again, he gave me all the time I needed, even though his lunch was getting cold! I can honestly say that the whole experience, from "just kickin tires", to sales, to service, was a fun and pleasurable one. I must say a word about the girls that greet you with a smile and a "hello" when you walk in the door. On a recent visit, I looked at a big Hog bank, and a Zippo lighter. A week or so later, I went back to purchase them, and don't you know, they were not to be had. I asked Rebecca when they might get some in. I could only remember that the lighter was chrome, and had a red emblem. She told me to leave my number and she would look into it for me. The first thing the next mourning, I got a call to say both items were waiting for me! It was even the correct lighter! So a special thanks to Tabitha and Rebecca! "I was a traveler on a 1985 FLHT going from Albuquerque, NM to Cherokee, NC on May 28, 2010 by way of I-40. I stopped in Cookeville for gas and my carb was gushing gas out the air cleaner not to mention my ongoing idle problem. I found Boswell's number in the phone book & gave them a call. Boswell came & picked up me & my bike & took us to their shop. Two mechanics & the service manager Roy got right to work on my carb & stopped the problem with gushing gas. They also found that my CV carb idle screw was missing so Roy donated me the one from his bike. I was back on the road in less than 2 hours for a fee of less than $100. I couldn't believe the service that Boswell Harlley gave me late in the day on a Friday going into the Memorial Day weekend. I was very impressed & grateful for their effort.
